The new store on Unterer Markt is an opportunity for Dorfen.
Customers also have a responsibility for this.

A new café-bistro next to the town hall and a small supermarket on the Unterer Markt – that's good news for Dorfen.
The grocery store in particular gives hope for a permanently vital city center.
This is how you imagine the perfect stroll: cappuccino, new pants and everything for dinner.
In order for this to be more than just an old town dream, it has to fit from two sides.
The shop owners have to create the right concept.
A mixture of a village shop and a city store with a snack bar could fit well here.
Lunch offers would be welcome for many and for the operators, goods that leave a little more hanging on.
And just as important: It takes loyal customers who sometimes pay a little more than in a discount store, even though they can't have a comprehensive selection in the small store.
It won't be enough for the operators if you just jump in quickly to buy a liter of milk and six eggs.
