The entrepreneur, known for the Müllermich brand, told the Swiss newspaper that he had known the AfD leader for four years.

“Alice Weidel is a friend.

She lives nearby and comes to visit often.” Then he likes to talk to her about politics and economics.

Müller made it clear that he “by no means shared all of the ideas” of the Alternative for Germany.

As examples, he cited the direct election of the Federal President or a ban on glyphosate.

Müller: AfD is “legal” as long as it is not banned

He also rejects right-wing populism and extremism.

The party has made it clear that it is not calling for mass deportations like those that were said to have been planned at the secret meeting in Potsdam.

“Of course there are individuals in the AfD who say stupid things, spread right-wing extremist slogans and, for example, want to deport Germans who were born somewhere else.

Something like that is not possible, I strictly reject it,” explained Müller.

Nevertheless, he noted that the AfD is a party “that participates in forming the will of the people.” As long as it is not banned, it is in a legal state, said Müller.

“Nobody is calling for a ban on the Left Party.

And their members publicly call for the rich to be shot.” He was referring to a scandal at a conference of the Left Party.

At the beginning of March, a woman spoke of the rich being shot.

Müller then reported this, but nothing was done, he said.

“Imagine if an AfD member were to demand something like this woman from the Left Party.

There would be something going on.”
