In the middle of an ultra-hot session in Congress over the approval or rejection of the Omnibus Law, deputy
Miguel Ángel Pichetto
took the floor and attacked everyone: he told the opponents that there was no need to adjourn the session due to the riots outside the Congress. he insulted
the legislative palace and
the ruling party for applauding
his speech and showing inaction in the face of the
Kirchnerist and leftist attempt to suspend the debate
..
The protests outside Congress caused a group of deputies from Unión por la Patria and the Left Front to ask for an intermission due to the police "repression" of the protesters.
Pichetto took the floor in the face of the passivity of Martín Menem
, who presided over the session, and the libertarians.
"First of all, there is nothing to applaud, let's put the session in order. Secondly,
it would be important for the ruling party authorities to appear
speaking, otherwise
anyone could speak
and say anything," Pichetto began his speech, visibly upset.
The Kirchnerist bloc had requested a fourth intermission to definitively stop the debate.
That motion was rejected by the majority
, which led to the list of speakers continuing.
This whole situation provoked the reaction of the experienced Pichetto who,
without any filter, shot at everyone
and no one was saved.
"Thirdly, our bloc
is not going to allow the work of a State power to be interrupted
."
It was there that a group of deputies (generally, from La Libertad Avanza) applauded him in a sign of total support for what he was saying, but Mauricio Macri's former vice presidential candidate did not like that attitude at all.

"Don't applaud anything old,
stop applauding, don't be idiots
. It seems like
you're at a party
, stop applauding," he roared and completed: "We regret the acts of violence, which must be investigated. People have the right to demonstrate, but "not to provoke violent acts.
Let's continue meeting
here in Congress," Pichetto attacked.
Tension on the second day of marches against the Omnibus Law in front of Congress
On the second day of debate on the omnibus law in Deputies, the protests of the previous day in front of the National Congress were repeated.
There the left summoned its militants and some of its main figures to protest against the Bases Law promoted by Javier Milei and which is being discussed in the lower house.
Taking advantage of the tension,
Kirchnerism came out to play its game
.
There were moments of pushing and shoving and at least one detainee and one injured were recorded.
Furthermore, after 6:30 p.m., the protesters blocked Rivadavia Avenue, while the Gendarmerie vehicles momentarily interrupted traffic in Entre Ríos.
The gendarmes advanced on the protest, using tear gas and pushing.
And
the deputies took advantage of the scenario
.
The protest escalated politically with the intervention before the Gendarmerie advance, first, of deputies from the Left such as
Nicolás Del Caño
, who then returned to the premises shouting, with attempts to stop the session.
Within minutes, deputies from Unión por la Patria appeared in the streets, with
Máximo Kirchner at their head
.
Kirchnerism also wanted the session to be suspended with a request for a fourth intermission but it was rejected.
Then, the former president's son spoke at the venue.
