More than a week ago, Princess Kate underwent abdominal surgery in a private clinic.
Husband Prince William looks after his wife and visits her regularly - without the children.
London – On January 16, 2024, Princess Kate Middleton (42) underwent abdominal surgery.
The British royal has to stay in the private clinic “The London Clinic” for fourteen days and recover.
Husband Prince William (41) is a constant visitor to his wife - but the children Prince George (10), Princess Charlotte (8) and Prince Louis (5) have not seen their mother for a long time.
Ban on children in the clinic: Princess Kate has to recover without children
It has already been reported that Princess Kate keeps in touch with her children from the hospital via her smartphone.
One would think that the royal would also be visited regularly by the little ones.
But that's not the case: communication via cell phone is the only way for the Princess of Wales to see her children.
There is a ban on children in the private clinic - most likely for infection and recovery reasons.
Apparently no exception is made even for the British Royal Family.
A hard blow for Kate Middleton, who of course loves having her children around her.
Princess Kate's return to the family is imminent
Husband and dad Prince William is currently in charge at home and looking after their three children.
But he won't have to be without Princess Kate for much longer, as she could be released from the clinic at any time.

Princess Kate may not be allowed to receive visits from her children, but she did receive other family support: King Charles III.
