Barbara Schöneberger is a passionate presenter.
If her television career ends at some point, the TV icon would also have another dream job in prospect.
Berlin – There is no question that Barbara Schöneberger (49) is a real all-rounder.
The all-round entertainer has been presenting, singing and acting for decades with undeniable success and has long since become an integral part of German-speaking show business.
However, Schöneberger only started her television career after she dropped out of studying sociology, communication science and art history despite receiving top grades.
For the cult blonde, being a TV star is not the only possible dream job.
In her podcast “With the Waffles of a Woman,” Schöneberger revealed what work she would like to do if she ever decided to start a new career.
Barbara Schöneberger has a penchant for vintage furniture
In the latest episode of “With the Waffles of a Woman,” Barbara Schöneberger talks to her guest Hannes Jaenicke (63), among other things, about her penchant for online shopping on train rides.
The “Do you understand fun?” presenter particularly enjoys investing in furniture.
“Nothing gets lost either, because these are beautiful things and they stay beautiful.
“It’s been a hundred years, because it’s usually old things,” she says about her passion for collecting.
Jaenicke seems to feel the same way, as the actor shares Schöneberger's enthusiasm for antiques and vintage furniture.
“I have never bought a new piece of furniture, I buy everything used because I simply think old furniture is nicer,” he explains his purchasing behavior.

But Barbara Schöneberger's love for furnishings doesn't end with furniture.
The Munich native also often buys “old blankets” or “old pictures” on the relevant online portals.
If her TV success were to wane at some point, she could also imagine a career as an interior designer.
“I would really like to furnish houses for other people,” she reveals in a podcast conversation with Jaenicke.
Barbara Schöneberger would also have liked to have worked outside of moderation.

“For me it’s also about continuing to make things beautiful, and if that’s no longer possible within your own four walls…” she explains her desire for a second source of income.
However, your potential customers should plan a decent budget, because if Schöneberger could ask one thing from her clients, it would be: “Money doesn't matter.” Her podcast guest recently made headlines in other ways: at a circus premiere Actor Hannes Jaenicke his new love Stephanie Krogmann.
