Plans for a new childcare center have now been presented to the Rudelzhausen local council.
A natural kindergarten and an orchard are also possible.
Rudelzhausen
– A huge project is soon to be launched in Tegernbach: a childcare center near the outdoor swimming pool.
At the most recent local council meeting, a plan was presented for the first time, which also made it clear that it is not just a new kindergarten on the outskirts of town.
The assessment of Mayor Michael Krumbucher (FW): “Yes, it’s going to be really big!”
Just over a year ago, the local council decided to draw up the development plan for the “Tegernbach child care center” and, at the same time, to change the land use plan.
Lisa Fuchs from the Freiraum Freising office presented the designs of what the area could look like to the local council for the first time.
The care center is to be built near the Tegernbach outdoor swimming pool and the sports facilities there, on a total area of around 1.2 hectares.
Fuchs explained what is being planned there: “Two buildings are shown here – a kindergarten and a crèche, each 40 meters long and 20 meters wide.” Possibly, according to Krumbucher, a natural kindergarten should also be added.
The buildings will probably have two floors, and a meadow orchard is also planned.
“After kindergarten they can jump straight into the water.”

The next procedural step: the early participation of the public and those responsible for public affairs.
The draft documents were approved unanimously, which is why, according to the mayor, “everything can now go on the road”.
What outdoor pool fan Krumbucher liked best: “After kindergarten you can jump into the water straight away.”
This decision was preceded by analyzes and considerations as to how childcare in the community could be shouldered in the future.
There were considerations about expanding the capacity by expanding the St. Wolfgang parish kindergarten in Rudelzhausen.
However, no agreement was reached between the community and the church foundation for the extension with a crèche and another group.
So the community had to quickly look for alternatives, which was also shown by a needs analysis as of January 1, 2023: It identified the need for a three-group daycare center and another kindergarten group.
