The nationwide strike in local transport, which the verdi union is calling for, also affects the Rhein-Neckar Transport Association (VRN).

But not all transport companies in the VRN area are on strike.

Public transport strike in the VRN area – these lines run

There is also a sigh of relief for commuters in the Rhine-Neckar region around Mannheim, Heidelberg and Ludwigshafen: Rhein-Neckar-Verkehr GmbH, which also belongs to the VRN, is not on strike.

There is also no information about strikes in the Bergstrasse and Odenwald and Odenwald-Tauber regions.

However, strikes at other transport companies cannot currently be completely ruled out.

The VRN recommends avoiding unnecessary journeys during this time.

The transport association could not provide any real-time data about canceled lines on the day of the strike.
