But the mayor of Suresnes, Guillaume Boudy and his municipal council envisaged another destiny for these premises: the installation of the Émile-Zola college, today cramped on its current site, avenue Franklin Roosevelt.

Although exchanges did take place, the two parties have always stuck to their positions.
