There are three major projects coming up in Straßlach-Dingharting: a new residential building, a thermal power plant and a retirement home.

The community can rely on solid finances.

Straßlach-Dingharting

- In other communities, the budget may be a huge topic for several meetings, but Straßlach-Dingharting sometimes puts the discussion about income and expenditure in the current year on item 15 of the local council agenda.

Knowing that the budget discussion will not get out of hand.

This year too, not a single question was asked about what Chamberlain Franz Kurz had done.

The figures paper was approved unanimously.

Trade tax increases

Well, you have to say that: The capital of the small community consists primarily of the beautiful landscape.

Urban sprawl has been avoided here, but the community has changed significantly in recent years.

It also now has a commercial area.

What was noted with satisfaction at the meeting: trade tax revenue is constantly increasing.

This year they add up to 3.3 million euros, plus another 3.2 million euros from income tax.

Kurz called the development “very pleasing.”

That is planned

Otherwise, in Straßlach-Dingharting the community has three major projects on the agenda, but only one of them has an impact on the main budget, namely the construction of the apartment building that is being built where the Raiffeisenbank is now located located.

2.4 million euros have been reserved for the building this year, 1.8 million of which will be financed by loans, the total costs are 3.6 million euros.

Meanwhile, the thermal power plant that will be built in Straßlach and will supply the entire district with local heat from 2029 will be managed by the municipal company ISD.

The project costs a total of 30 million, six million are budgeted for this year to lay cables and start work on the building itself.

There is a total of 11.3 million euros in funding.

Construction will begin in April.

Major project number two, the senior citizens' home with over 70 apartments, was completely handed over to an investor, Sitoa GmbH, which has already implemented two large projects on the doorstep in the commercial area - the office building and a medical center.

Everything was thoroughly checked

Mayor Hans Sienerth (independent) said at the meeting that all income and expenditure had been “thoroughly examined”.

The number paper contains 123 pages.

You can also see that the district levy has increased again this year to a whopping 3.15 million euros.

The personnel costs will add up to 3.8 million in the next eleven months, with the salaries of employees in childcare facilities alone accounting for 1.8 million.

The bottom line is that the small community will go into next year with 3.9 million in debt, which is offset by reserves of 5.4 million euros.

The financial cushion will not be touched this year; on the contrary, an additional 40,000 euros will be added to it.
