It's supposed to snow in parts of Bavaria, but not in Franconia.
The temperatures there are even rising.
It probably won't be comfortable days though.
Nuremberg - February starts in winter in Bavaria, and there is expected to be plenty of snow before the weekend.
At the weekend there will be a major change - does this also apply to Franconia?
Friday morning, February 2nd, began with precipitation, and in places with snow.
“Afterwards there will be no precipitation.
Temporary cloud breaks will occur in the late afternoon and early evening,” reports weather expert Stefan Ochs (
wetterochs.de
) in his forecast for the Regnitz region.
Mild weather in Franconia: temperatures around 8 degrees
“It will still be mostly cloudy from Saturday to Monday.
Occasionally it rains a bit.
The total is unlikely to be more than 2 liters per square meter,” is the further prediction.
A change in the weather or even an onset of winter is not in sight in Franconia.
The temperatures on Friday will be 6 degrees, then a fairly steady 8 degrees.
The weather in Nuremberg is becoming uncomfortable - despite mild temperatures.

No onset of winter in Franconia: 13 degrees, but rain and wind
“As the next week progresses, the high will retreat to the southwest and the low foothills will become more intense here.
On the one hand, the temperatures continue to rise to 13 degrees, but on the other hand, it is raining more heavily and it remains windy,” Ochs concluded.
