   "We will take the protest to Rome," farmers' representative Danilo Calvani told ANSA.


   "In the coming days we will gather tractors outside the city.


   "There won't be any blockades, but there definitely will be inconvenience.


   "We expect thousands from all over Italy to take part".


   "Between tomorrow and the day after tomorrow we will announce the dates and places (of the protest).


   "In the following days we will begin to move the vehicles.


   "Then, we have the will to hold a demonstration - without vehicles - in Rome.


   "The government is not listening to us and the unions no longer represent us," he added.
