After scooters, will Parisians be right about the place of SUVs on the streets of the capital?
On the eve of the citizen vote, organized this Sunday, February 4 – between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. – in 222 polling stations, the issue of this new consultation took on the appearance of a referendum devoted to these “sports utility vehicles”.

However, voters are not invited to vote “for or against” the SUV, but rather “for or against the creation of a specific rate for parking” for these “bulky and polluting” cars.
If the “yes” vote were to prevail, drivers of the vehicles concerned would see the price of their parking space triple.
