As chance would have it, this history enthusiast moved to Fontenay-sous-Bois, a stone's throw from the plaque which pays tribute to the resistance fighter Thomas Elek, present on the "Red Poster" alongside Missak Manouchian.

Like when the planets align, the bookstore in which the writer will be signing this Friday opened less than a month after his arrival in the city, in 2019. The writer Didier Daeninckx could not hope for a better place to launch its latest publication: a comic strip in tribute to Missak Manouchian, entitled “A Heroic Life” and prepared in just a few months.

Already author of the novel “Missak”, published in 2009, Didier Daeninckx could not fail to publish again on “this extraordinary man” to celebrate the pantheonization of the resistance fighter which will take place on February 21.

Buried with his entire group shot at Mont Valérien on February 21, 1943, Missak Manouchian left Ivry, accompanied by the remains of his wife Mélinée who joined him in this square of those shot in 1994.
