There was a hole here the day after the theft.
Because it rained in the meantime, it doesn't look so bad anymore.

Large plants have already been dug up and stolen from the front garden of a woman from Grunertshofen twice.
She filed a complaint against unknown persons.
Moorenweis - The case is unlikely to be solved - but the woman would like to warn other landowners.
She now wants to install a camera herself.
When a woman from the Moorenweiser district of Grunertshofen looked out of her house through a window into the front garden on January 24th, she was shocked.
“I actually just wanted to see if it was raining.
But then I saw the hole.” Unknown people had dug up a bush of chasteberry at night.
And this is the second time this has happened to the woman.
March 2023
As early as March 2023, five large tree lilies and a sprawling bush of chasteberry about one and a half meters high disappeared overnight.
Everything had been planted for several years and was therefore well rooted.
“They must have been using a spade or shovel.”
At that time the woman did nothing.
But she is annoyed: “My garden is my everything.” She always takes great care to ensure that her property is well looked after.
And she plants special shrubs and plants such as the tall tree lilies, which are rarely available.
Another hole
The shock was all the greater when suddenly there was another hole in the front garden at the end of January.
The woman had replanted a monk's pepper in the fall.
And exactly this successor has now been stolen again.
“It was probably easier this year.
The bush wasn't overgrown yet.” The woman had no longer replaced the tree lilies.
Your front garden is directly on Flurstrasse.
It is surrounded by a waist-high wooden fence, but there is no lockable gate at the entrance towards the front door.
She didn't find any traces in the garden, on the sidewalk or on the street after the thefts.
There are no witnesses either, even though the woman has interviewed the entire neighborhood and even though her garden is under a streetlight.
But there isn't much going on in Grunertshofen at night, she says: "It would have been a coincidence if someone had seen it."

The homeowner complains: “It's a complete impudence to dig up something in someone's garden and just take it with you.” That's why, after the second incident, she has now filed a complaint against unknown people.
According to the Fürstenfeldbruck police, the chances of finding the perpetrator or perpetrators are very low - because there are no witnesses.
The police are currently not aware of any similar cases from the district.
The Jesenwang case
In 2022 there were a number of thefts from gardens in Jesenwang.
Back then, mainly decorative items were removed, but also plants and even a tree.
After the newspaper report, the thefts stopped.
The woman from Grunertshofen also hopes so.
She wants to warn other garden owners: “They should keep their eyes open.” And, as advised by the police, she will install a camera on her house.
A new monk's pepper costs around 50 euros, she estimates.
The tree lilies ten euros each.
“But it’s not about the money for me.
I just find it cheeky.
You have to respect other people’s property.”
She no longer wants to replant chasteberry and tree lilies.
For her, the risk of both disappearing again is too great.
Now sunflowers will probably grow in this spot in your front yard.
