Two twenty-year-olds died last night in a road accident just outside Lecco, at an exit of Highway 36, on the lakeside in the Caviate area.
They were traveling in a car that went off the road and overturned.
The victims were 21 and 22 years old.
The accident occurred at 2.30 am.
The alarm was raised by other motorists and the police, fire brigade and air ambulance intervened on the spot, together with Areu's rescuers.
The dynamics of the tragedy are now being examined by the police.
