But when do parades, balls etc. take place where in the Freising district?

– The crazy hustle and bustle in the Freising district really picks up speed from Nonsensical Thursday.

The Freisinger Tagblatt gives an overview of carnival balls, parades and crazy events at the end of the carnival.

  • Attenkirchen


    - The Attenkirchen Fire Department invites you to the Fire Department Ball on Saturday, February 10th.

    From 8 p.m. things get going in the Bürgersaal: the band “highfly” plays for the dance, and the Narrhalla Attenkirchen is also at the start.


    - At the sweepstakes on Shrove Tuesday, February 13th, from 6 p.m. in the Bürgersaal, the Narrhalla Attenkirchen will be showing its program for the last time.

    Tickets are only available at the box office.

  • Au/Hallertau


    - The foolish women are on the loose on Nonsensical Thursday, February 8th, when the country women's colorful Abens women's carnival takes place in the “Zum braveen Schneiderlein” inn in Hirnkirchen.

    It starts at 7 p.m.

    The Dellnhausen show ladies provide entertainment.

    Reservations can be made at “Schneiderlein” by calling (08752) 810324.


    - TSV Au traditionally organizes the “warm-up” before the carnival parade on Carnival Sunday, February 11th, from 10.30 a.m. in the sports hall.

    “There are white sausages and wieners and a bar to warm up and 'preheat'.

    The population and all carnival enthusiasts and train participants are welcome,” the invitation says.


    - With lots of Helau, confetti and sweets, the Gaudiwurm meanders through the market town on Carnival Sunday, February 11th.

    Things get going from 2 p.m.

  • Eching


    - The Bad Boys' Ball will take place on Saturday, February 10th, from 7:30 p.m. (admission: 7 p.m.) in the Eching Community Center.

    In addition to the Narrhalla Heidechia Eching and the dance group Feminance, the Burschengarde 2024 will also be performing.

  • Fahrenzhausen


    - The traditional carnival procession runs from Fahrenzhausen to Kammerberg on Shrove Tuesday, February 13th.

    As always, the crazy hustle and bustle begins at 11 a.m. in the center of Fahrenzhausen, the parade itself starts at 1 p.m.

    In Kammerberg it's all happening at the innkeeper's from 12 p.m.

    From 6 p.m. it's sweeping off.

  • Freising


    - The Jahn carnival, to which TSV Jahn Freising invites you on Saturday, February 10th, is under the motto “Welcome to the Olympics”.

    The foolish spectacle with DJ Hare begins at 8 p.m. (doors open at 7:30 p.m.) in the Jahn Hall.

    Tickets are available at the TSV office on Fischergasse and at Bücher Puste.


    - The 3klang choir Aliceten, conducted by Alice Paper-Burghardt, invites you to a carnival concert on Thursday, February 8th.

    It starts at 7.30 p.m. in the Lindenkeller.

    The motto of the carnival revue is “classics”.

    “You and tenor Frank Selzle will find out what can be described as such and why and how you first have to earn the title this evening,” says the announcement.

    And further: “As always, costumes are happily expected, but not required.” Tickets (eight euros) are available at the box office.

  • Gammelsdorf


    - The Narrhalla Gammelsdorf invites you to the rag ball on Saturday, February 10th.

    The foolish spectacle with the performance of the local Narrhalla and the band Gäubodenbiffen starts at 8 p.m. (doors open at 7 p.m.) in the gym.

  • Langenbach


    - In Langenbach, the carnival parade and colorful evening alternate every year.

    This year there will be another colorful evening to which the Vaschingsferein Langenbach invites you on Saturday, February 10th.

    It starts at 7:30 p.m. (admission: 7 p.m.) in the Bürgersaal.

  • Mauern


    - A highlight of the Mauern carnival is the carnival parade, which takes place on Carnival Sunday, February 11th.

    From 2 p.m., foot groups and carnival floats parade through the main street.

    Afterwards there is crazy hustle and bustle on the castle square.

  • Moosburg


    - Candy rain and the best atmosphere are guaranteed when the carnival parade winds its way through the city center on Shrove Tuesday, February 13th.

    The starting signal is given at 1:30 p.m.

    Afterwards, crazy activities are on the agenda until 8 p.m.

  • Nandlstadt


    - This Saturday there will be a big guard meeting in the Nandlstadt hop hall.

    From 2 p.m. the Narrhalla welcomes 13 different (show) dance groups.

    The program is scheduled to run until 10:20 p.m.


    - The traditional carnival parade on Shrove Tuesday, February 13th, marks the end of the crazy program in the Hallertau community.

    The Gaudiwurm winds its way through the town from 2 p.m., after which it's time for fun.

  • Wolfersdorf


    - The parish of Wolfersdorf invites all older citizens of the community to the senior carnival on Wednesday, February 7th.

    The crazy meeting begins at 1:30 p.m. in the fire station.

  • Zolling


    - 15 groups will perform when the Narrhalla invites you to take part in carnival activities in the community center on Saturday, February 10th.

    Things get going from 1 p.m. (admission: 12 p.m.).
