Schlager fans were recently annoyed about a supposedly unfair distribution of airtime on the “Schlagerchampions”.
Helene Fischer has a lot more time than other artists, so the accusation goes.
Berlin – A good two weeks ago, Helene Fischer (39) was a guest of Florian Silbereisen (42).
In the show “Schlagerchampions – The Big Festival of the Best” on January 13, 2024, the hit queen took up a lot of space.
Too much, as some viewers thought.
Kerstin Ott (42) has a clear opinion on this.

In a Facebook post from ARD, many viewers expressed their displeasure that Helene Fischer was the focus for a good half hour of the show.
The “Atemlos” interpreter performed two songs and a medley.
Of course, a little chat with ex-boyfriend Florian Silbereisen couldn't be missed.
In between, she also accepted an award for her “Rausch” tour.
Other pop stars were only allowed to perform one song.
One of them is singer Kerstin Ott, who only had seven minutes of broadcast time.
When asked about this, the 42-year-old reacted calmly.
“You can’t please everyone anyway,” she said in an interview with

.
“If Helene Fischer had had a broadcast time of seven minutes, people would have been upset about it.” You don't have to take it so seriously.
She is happy to be there at all.
Kerstin Ott makes it clear: criticism “is simply mean”
“Being annoyed that someone has a minute more than me is not my thing,” says Ott.
She is sure that those responsible for the show think carefully about who should appear and for how long.
Helene Fischer has a very large fan base.
“It's just mean: no matter how they do it, it's not right,” said the musician.

It had 15 minutes of airtime.
After receiving the award for Female Singer of the Year, she - just like her colleague before - sang a medley of her best-known hits.
Helene Fischer and Andrea Berg have been fighting a “Schlagerchampions” duel for a long time.
