While there is no end in sight for “Der Bergdoktor”, viewers were already worried about Andrea Gerhard's future in the ZDF series last year.
Her character Linn is in a relationship with Hans Gruber (Heiko Ruprecht, 51), but there was a real crisis in season 16.
Nevertheless, Andrea reassured her fans and assured that she would also be in front of the camera for the current 17th season.
But now comes sobering news.
ZDF confirmed to

: "Actress Andrea Gerhard is saying goodbye to the ZDF series 'Der Bergdoktor' in the current season." So Linn Kemper's story has probably been told.
“With the development of new impulses for the narrative arc of the horizontal story, ZDF and production have decided, in agreement with the actress, not to continue the role,” the statement says.

The end of the series is clearly not voluntary.
“I still had so many ideas: In my head, Linn has been through thick and thin with Hans many times, they got married and in the future Linn will be the godmother of Lilli's first child.
“I really liked my role as Linn Kemper,” emphasizes the 40-year-old.
