In the ratings battle, one program particularly stood out: With over 30 percent market share in the target group, no one could come close to this RTL format.
Cologne – Especially during prime time, the broadcasters fight for the best ratings every day.
But currently a late evening program is almost more popular than the top programs at 8:15 p.m.
On Friday evening, RTL can score from 10:15 p.m. - even though the format was almost torn apart online.
Clear ratings win: “I’m a star – get me out of here!” destroys the competition – despite criticism
The ranks in the jungle camp are thinning out - because day after day a star has to give up his place at the campfire.
But not on Friday evening (February 2, 2024): Because Cora Schumacher (47) moved out voluntarily, the decision for the next expulsion was postponed.
This is exactly why there was a lot of criticism online.
Many viewers felt duped by RTL and lured in front of the TV sets under false pretenses.
“Boring” was the verdict of several viewers at the end of Friday’s edition.
Nevertheless, “I’m a star – get me out of here!” is what the competition is saying.

With 3.87 million viewers and a market share of 20.8 percent, the jungle camp is
by far the most popular format after 10 p.m., according to
dwdl.de.
Only the “heute-show” at 10:30 p.m. on ZDF can keep up with the overall audience with 3.34 million viewers (15.2 percent).
Things are looking even better for RTL in the young target group.
With 1.56 million viewers and a market share of 34.4 percent, IBES even won the day there.
No other program was watched by so many people from the advertising-relevant group of 14 to 49 year olds.
What number of viewers set the record in Germany?
On July 13, 2014, ARD made television history: According to estimates, a whopping 34.65 million people watched the World Cup final between Germany and Argentina (1-0 n.V.) on their own television sets.
Incorrect: People who followed the game during public viewing or in bars were not taken into account in this count.
The actual number is likely to be considerably higher.
Odds analysis: “LEGO Masters Allstars” benefits from jungle camp fans
The previous show “LEGO Masters Allstars” also secured a place at the top of the ratings list.
The RTL format reached 0.72 million viewers among young audiences.
This corresponds to a market share of 13.9 percent.
The good value is probably mainly due to the fact that there were a large number of spectators in the last 15 minutes.
When you look at the “All Eyes On Screen” analysis from
dwdl.de
, you notice that the Cologne station has rapidly gained viewers from 10 p.m.

While ARD and ZDF were clearly ahead at prime time and until 10 p.m., a completely different picture emerged about 15 minutes before the start of “I'm a Star - Get Me Out of Here!”: RTL's ratings curve literally shot up in the diagram increased while all other channels decreased significantly.
The start of the jungle camp already scored points in the ratings battle.
