Oberhaching
– To say goodbye to the local council, Kevin Terzi (Greens) received a beer mug and a selection of Oberhaching beers.
“I would like to thank you for the courage to get involved, to delve into new topics and to invest a lot of time,” said Mayor Stefan Schelle (CSU).
“Don’t forget your time here, because it’s important to learn how democracy works, to keep the human aspect in mind and to shape the future, even if your own idea doesn’t come through.”
To study for a master’s degree in the Netherlands
The now 25-year-old student was active as a local councilor for four years and will now go to Leiden in the Netherlands to study for a master's degree.
“It was a great honor for me to hold the office and to have the opportunity to help shape the community,” he emphasized.
According to him, it was an exciting and very educational time.
“As a political science student, I was able to really experience democratic work.
And I am particularly pleased that, thanks to the Youth Advisory Board, concrete ideas for improving leisure opportunities for young people are now on the town hall’s agenda.” He called on the councils to work together and show mutual respect.
