This will be the price: 225 euros for 6 hours of parking for an SUV in eleven districts of the capital.
With this exorbitant price proposed by the city of Paris, the intentions of Anne Hidalgo's team are clear.
For it, it is a question of dissuading the circulation in its streets of these fashionable vehicles which it considers too heavy, too bulky and too polluting.
As with the fate of rental scooters last April, Parisians are invited to decide, as part of a vote organized this Sunday, whether to increase the price of parking for these SUVs, which have become the bane of several cities .
Paris is in fact not the only one to want to chase them away.
Without going through a vote, Lyon will adopt special SUV pricing and Bordeaux is strongly considering it.
Please note that in the capital, this increase does not concern residential parking or that of professionals in their dedicated zone (taxis, delivery people, ambulances, etc.).
