The American House of Representatives is expected to vote next week on an independent aid package for Israel, NBC reported.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, informed the Republicans that he will bring the proposed resolution to the House of Representatives, without the addition of the aid to Ukraine and the budget for handling the country's southern border, as discussed in the beginning.
"It appears that the Senate is ready to release the details of the overall aid package after months of negotiations behind closed doors. The Senate leadership needs to understand that by ignoring members of the House of Representatives, they have eliminated the ability to influence our legislation," Johnson wrote to members of his party. "The House of Representatives will have to work on these issues himself and thus address the priorities before us," he added. Johnson attacked the Senate for what he called "its failure to pass appropriate legislation in a timely manner," and added that the House of Representatives under his leadership should act as soon as possible against the backdrop of "the dangerous circumstances facing Israel now".

The bill in question that Johnson wants to pass includes $17.6 billion in military aid to Israel "as well as important funding for US forces in the region," according to Johnson's office. The original proposal debated in both houses recently was for $14.3 billion. The latest legislation is to be introduced in the House of Representatives by Ken Calvert of California.
The organization "Coalition of Republican Jews" responded to the announcement on NBC and said that "it is urgent and essential that Israel have what it needs to defeat terrorism and protect its citizens.
