The developer had taken legal action to request the annulment of the State's decision to end the sale.

A big disappointment for the real estate company which, in 2021, had applied to buy this 310 hectare site located in Thiverval-Grignon, for an amount of 18 million euros.

In July of that same year, his project was chosen by the State.

Only a few months later, under pressure from elected officials and the Grignon 2000 association, it made an about-face and announced in November that it was putting an end to the transfer procedure to the developer.

Good news for opponents of the arrival of the real estate developer, in particular the Grignon 2000 association, which had made a purchase offer for an amount of 13 million euros.

But also for the municipality of Thiverval-Grignon which reaffirmed last December during a wish adopted by the majority of the municipal council that it “will only accept a project of general interest linked to agronomy and Environmental Protection ".
