The US Secretary of State's office announces today (Saturday) that Lincoln will visit the Middle East between February 4 and 8, 2024, including Israel, Qatar and Egypt.
Blinken's office states that his visits are intended to promote and enable the signing of a deal for the return of the abductees to Israel, alongside increasing humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
Another purpose for which Lincoln will visit the countries of the Middle East is to limit the developing military conflict in the north.
In addition to this, he will emphasize the necessity of offensive activity to neutralize the threats in the Red Sea, which interfere with the transfer of goods on the trade routes.
Also, Lincoln will continue discussions to encourage the creation of regional normalization, which may include, in accordance with the American expectation, the establishment of a Palestinian state.
