The unemployment rate in the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district is 2.5 percent.
The slight increase is due to the winter months.
But the situation on the labor market remains stable.
Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen
– Everything as always: “As in previous years, the wintry weather had an impact on the job market in January.” With these words, Dr.
Nicole Cujai, chairwoman of the Rosenheim employment agency, explained the current situation in a press release.
Employees from so-called “weather-dependent professions”, such as in agriculture and forestry, were released for the winter months.
The situation on the labor market remains stable
The number of people registered as unemployed in the agency district has therefore increased by 1,200 to a total of 9,820 in the past few weeks.
“Despite these small downturns, the situation on the labor market is still stable,” emphasizes Cujai.
In historical comparison, there are still many job vacancies reported at 4,550.

In the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district, the unemployment rate was 2.5 percent in January (for comparison: the previous month the value was 2.2 percent).
That corresponds to 1,797 unemployed citizens.
Of these, 1,053 men and women – 178 more than a month ago – are registered at the employment agencies in Bad Tölz and Wolfratshausen.
744 affected people, 55 more than in December, are registered as unemployed at the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen job center.
In total, the job center looks after 2,292 employable people entitled to benefits who live in so-called communities of need.
Companies continue to show a high willingness to provide training
Michael Preisdanz, the new operational managing director of the employment agency, looks optimistically at the current career counseling year: “It is nice that the companies in our agency district continue to show a high level of willingness to provide training.” This is a “good and important way” to get skilled workers of tomorrow.
By mid-January, companies had reported more than 3,000 training positions to be filled.
Preisdanz: “We are pleased that some of the young people who contacted us have already found a training position.”
