The Commissioner for the War on Anti-Semitism in Germany, Felix Klein said tonight (between Saturday and Sunday) in an article for the German media that "anti-Semitism in Germany has reached a level not seen in years".
He also said that society's indifference is the cause of this, and called to "take a clear stand against hatred of Jews."

"Since October 7, there has been hatred of Jews in Germany at a level not seen for decades," Klein wrote.
"Parents do not send their children to Jewish kindergartens, classes in Jewish schools remain empty. Jewish events are canceled. People change their names when ordering taxis or deliveries so that they will not be recognized as Jews."
Klein welcomed the event held last week in memory of the victims of the Holocaust, but noted that "the many statements of 'never again' are contrary to the current reality of the Jews".
