A message to Minister Karai?
A post by an associate of Communications Minister Shlomo Karai under the title "Betrayal Betrayal Betrayal" was taken off the air following a threat from the broadcasting corporation with a libel lawsuit - this is how Walla learned!

In a post written by Likud activist, Mizrahan Edi Cohen on 1/24/24, the latter called the corporation's "Machan" channel (in Arabic) "broadcasting as if it were an enemy of the state" and claimed that its activities require "attention from the General Security Service" and that the channel "incites an entire population against the establishment and against citizens".
It was also written by Cohen that "action needs to be formulated" against the channel, and not be satisfied with "idle threats".
Cohen's post was based on a program on the Makhan channel under what he called "Is the State of Israel an Apartheid State".
During the program, Dr. Hassan Jabarin, an Israeli Arab, was interviewed, who supported this thesis and explained his doctrine. However, in practice, Jabarin spoke for 4 minutes out of a program that was about an hour long, when the title of the program in general was "Democracy in Israel at a time of war".
Eddie Cohen on the Broadcasting/Documentation Corporation in Social Networks according to Section 27 A of the Copyright Law
In an unusual letter sent by the legal department of the Cohen Broadcasting Corporation last week, the corporation's management claimed that this is a "false claim, devoid of any basis and constitutes a blatant slander against Mehkan channel and the corporation in general."
The letter also claims that the statements contain an explicit call for action against the corporation, and therefore the statements contain a form of incitement against it." Later, Cohen removed the potet from the air.
A warning letter from the broadcasting/scanning corporation
This is not the first time Eddie Cohen attacks the broadcasting corporation.
Cohen, who defines himself as a "journalist and influencer on social networks in the Arabic language", and who announced his candidacy in 2020 for the Likud list for the Knesset, frequently speaks out against the Broadcasting Corporation in what appears to be a campaign that corresponds astonishingly with the positions of Karai, who wants to weaken the Broadcasting Corporation.
More than once Karai even used claims identical to those made by Cohen on social networks.
A few weeks ago, Cohen wrote "a good word to Minister Karai", after the latter sent another letter to the public corporation in which he demanded that the corporation's council appoint inspectors who would review the Arabic language broadcast in real time.
"In other words, and rightfully so, Minister Karai has no confidence in the corporation's management... Anyone who understands Arabic will agree with the minister's statement. The corporation sometimes broadcasts in Arabic like the Al Jazeera network. This should be stopped immediately. What else is involved in our money, tax money. The corporation's board has no choice but to comply with the minister's demand, and if not I believe the minister will disband the board of directors and appoint a completely new board. We need a Zionist and patriotic board," Cohen wrote.
In the background, let's recall, there is an undeniable plan by Karai to harm the corporation, when it is estimated that
"Makhan" is nothing more than another tool that can help disperse and replace the board and the CEO.
