In December 2022, Klein announced that she had filed a defamation lawsuit against journalist Eli Tzipori in a social media post.
The post was shared by Klein's daughter on Twitter, and 55-year-old Meir Davol is accused of responding to her: "Strangle you and your mother together and then it will be quiet. We will haunt her until she dies soon in these crooked days."
About 8 months later, according to the charge against him, Devol tweeted two tweets in response to Klein's tweet about a pre-lawsuit warning letter she issued.
