From now on, the city of Weilheim will only publish its official announcements digitally.

This may increase the number of visitors to the town hall.

Weilheim - Without discussion, Weilheim's city council ended the era of the printed official gazette at its most recent meeting.

From now on, the city of Weilheim will only publish its official announcements digitally.

After this change had been discussed in detail in the main committee, the city council has now unanimously approved it without any further questions.

For example, it concerns construction projects and fee regulations

To date, the official gazette has generally appeared twice a month in the local newspaper.

But their regional management had terminated the agreement to publish the city of Weilheim's official gazettes at the end of 2023.

Therefore, the town hall had to quickly develop a new solution in order to duly publish official announcements that affect the general public.

This involves, for example, changes or new development plans, fee regulations and usage regulations by the city.

But important announcements from other authorities are also made via the city newsletter.

The announcements can now be found here

Now the city of Weilheim's official gazettes are only available digitally - via the city's website: www.weilheim.de/mein-weilheim/buergerservice/rathaus/stadtinfo/amtsblaetter.

The official gazette is published there “usually on the 5th and 20th of each month and as required,” as the city administration explains in a press release.

Those interested can also view the original of the official gazette in the Weilheim town hall: in the main office, room 104 (1st floor).

The publication of the official gazette will also be discontinued

“The official gazette can be read, downloaded, saved or printed free of charge,” reports the city.

If it is required in paper form, it can be ordered by telephone on 0881/682 1102 (Margarita Hornung and Björn Wirth) or by email at amtsblatt@weilheim.bayern.de.

However, obtaining it in paper form is subject to a fee.

The procedure described also applies to official gazettes that were published before February 2024, emphasizes Mayor Markus Loth in the message.

The archive on the city's homepage goes back to 2001.

This will be waived in the future, it was said at the last city council meeting.
