Four years after its arrival on the market, the M4 returned to the Motorsport workshop.
Engineers looked at its 3-liter twin-turbo inline six-cylinder engine and added 20 horsepower to deliver a whopping 530 horsepower.
At the same time, it was decided to simplify the range.
In France, the new M4 Competition M available as a coupe and convertible is now only available with M xDrive all-wheel drive and the 8-speed automatic gearbox which can be controlled with steering wheel paddles.
The designers also looked at the case of the M4.
On the program: a new light signature with Matrix Led projectors and the optional possibility of accessing the rear lights of the M4 CSL, that is to say, integrating laser technology.
New forged light alloy wheels complete the modification of the appearance of this sports car.

Inside too, the BMW M4 Competition is full of new features.
The standard equipment is enriched with the BMW Live Cockpit Navigation Pro system including the HUD head-up display and guidance with augmented reality while the operating system accesses the latest version.
Among the other standard equipment, we also note the Harman Kardon hi-fi installation, the Park Assist system, galvanized applications, heat-insulated glazing, seat belts with M edging and a new flat steering wheel incorporating a red marker at 12 o'clock and stitching in Motorsport colors.
Deliverable from next March, these two new M4s are priced at €121,000 (Coupé) and €127,700 (Cabriolet).
