The IDF is unveiling today (Sunday) a new application that was developed for the medical teams, and which is designed to ensure the transfer of medical information about the wounded from the battlefield, all the way until they arrive at the hospital.
Documentation from the field: this is how medical information travels from the battlefield to the hospital

From the beginning of the ground maneuver in the Gaza Strip, the Medical Corps personnel of the Technology and Logistics Division accompany the fighting forces on the battlefield.
Each company is maneuvered by a senior therapist, doctor or paramedic.
The medical records of wounded people in the field have so far been entered manually on a written page.
In the month of November during the war, a unique application was developed which is installed on a tablet that is in the possession of the various treatment levels in the field.
In the application, the caregiver enters information about the condition of the injured and the treatment given to him in the field, the information is transmitted via NFC cards between the levels of treatment on the way to the hospital to which he will be transferred in Israel.

In this way, the information passes fully and in a very precise way between the different therapists, thus it is possible to prioritize the injured more effectively, to know what the indicators of the injured were on their way to the hospital and what treatment was given to them in the field until they reached the medical teams in the hospitals.
