Iliana Calabro did not hesitate when defining her relationship with her sister Marina: “We are not friends”

2024-02-04T06:50:18.255Z

Highlights: Iliana Calabró affirmed this Saturday that the bond that unites her with her sister Marina is strictly family. “We are not friends, because there are sisters who are, like you were with Goldie, who called each other every day, followed each other and the relationship was beautiful. We are not,” the actress admitted, bluntly, at a table that also included Raúl Lavié. The recent crossovers between the sisters began last December, when Iliana was a guest on PH: Podemos Hablar.

The actress added a new chapter in the family internship in La Noche de Mirtha. She avoided talking about the journalist's private life because she “makes herself uncomfortable” and she explained why the latest friction between the two arose.

Iliana Calabró

affirmed this Saturday that the bond that unites her with her sister

Marina Calabró

is strictly family.

“We are not friends

,” the actress emphasized in La Noche de Mirtha.

In short, it was a new chapter in the intern between the daughters of the remembered Juan Carlos Calabró.

"And you were friends with your sister?"

Mirtha Legrand

, host of the program that aired on

El Trece

, asked him, alluding to the latest encounters that the Calabrós had in recent weeks.

Iliana tried to quickly avoid the situation, although her strategy did not have the effect she wanted, because other members of the table made it clear that her response was of interest to them.

“Let's talk a little bit,” asked journalist

Marcelo Polino

.

The eldest of the daughters of the comedian and actor who created iconic television characters such as “Johnny Tolengo” and “El Contra” tried to justify her position.

She doesn't like to talk

,” she said.

However, she was interrupted by an imitation of her person by Fátima Florez.

“I do like it.

You have to take the clothes outside, otherwise people don't understand anything,” the President's partner parodied her, who was part of this Saturday's message because it was recorded.

Her intervention was celebrated by the host.

“I understand that

you don't like to talk about your private life

.

We are not friends, because there are sisters who are, like you were with Goldie, who called each other every day, followed each other and the relationship was beautiful.

We are not,” Iliana admitted, bluntly, at a table that also included

Raúl Lavié

.

Iliana Calabró was a guest on La Noche de Mirtha along with Marcelo Polino, Fátima Florez and Raúl Lavié.

Noticing that his guest insisted on the argument of not talking about Marina, Legrand justified his question.

“I asked you the question because later they tell me 'why didn't you ask him',” Chiqui said.

“She doesn't like it, she makes herself uncomfortable.

“She doesn't like to talk about her private life and who am I to do it,” Iliana reiterated.

And she added: “Last time I echoed something that had appeared in the media.

As I told you, we don't have that relationship as friends.”

Mirtha, who said she had a very close relationship with Coca Calabro, the mother of the actress and the journalist, asked her what the relationship between the two was like when they were younger.

Iliana took advantage of her question to send a small hint to her sister.

“I was more of a 'mom' than a sister.

I

am seven years older, although we don't pretend it

, and if I had any problems I would go,” said she, who once became the winner of Cantando por un Sueño.

The recent crossovers between the Calabró sisters began last December, when Iliana was a guest on PH: Podemos Hablar.

There she made a heartbreaking claim to Marina in front of the cameras: with tears in her eyes, she asked him to approach her family again.

"I love my sister deeply, I need more of her presence and I feel like she has been avoiding my family since dad left," revealed the daughter of Juan Carlos Calabró, who died in November 2013.

Days later, Coca Calabró got into the controversy and differentiated the relationship he has with both sisters.

“I love Iliana very much, she is unique and unrepeatable,” he said about the eldest. On the other hand, he admitted that with Marina “there is not that much of a relationship.” “We don't see each other as much because she lives further away, but well, we get along well thanks to God," he said.

The supposed reconciliation between Iliana and Marina came shortly after, on the birthday of the youngest of the Calabrós.

After blowing out the birthday candle, Marina took the microphone and mentioned the family conflict: "I'm just going to say that I'm really happy that Coca and Iliana are here... It's a nice reunion. We weren't at odds, but it's a reunion after a difficult week".

Iliana and Marina Calabro were together on their younger sister's birthday, but then they crossed paths again.

But the rapprochement lasted just under a month.

In January of this year, Marina and Iliana sparked off again on television after the eldest of them stated in a note that her pair was starting an alleged romance with her co-worker Rolando Barbano.

"I read it out there, in the media. It seems to me that she is dating Barbano," said the first-born daughter of Juan Carlos Calabró.

Marina's return was full of irony: "We have to get Iliana's Google, I thought about sending her a Ludomatic, a Jenga, some cards so she can entertain herself and let me go a little."

This Saturday, in statements to La Once Diez, the journalist remarked: "It was a succession of inaccuracies, she was connecting dots in the air and mixing what she Googled with what she assumed. And on the other hand, one expects a brother to preserve your privacy, even if it's their assumptions, doesn't matter."
