The jungle campers' companions receive compensation and can earn extra money.
Gold Coast - While the celebrities in the jungle camp are starving, have to undergo disgust tests and have to survive with almost no privacy, their companions are much better off.
After the free flight, they can have a good time in the 5-star Hotel Imperial and apparently they will even get paid this year.
Jungle Companion: This has changed compared to last season
Last year's companion Peter Klein recently reported that he had only received a small expense allowance, but things seem to be different this year.

As “bild.de” also claims to have learned exclusively, the companions should be able to earn an additional 500 euros this year if they are willing to conduct podcast conversations in addition to the interviews.
Although they also have to adhere to a number of requirements in order not to risk a contractual penalty of 3,000 euros and agree to charge 2,000 euros to their credit card as security, there are certainly worse deals.
