A major police operation is currently underway in the city center of Füssen.
Several police officers were patrolling the city center.
What exactly happened is still unclear.
Update, February 4th, 12.30 p.m.:
After the stabbing of a 21-year-old in the Allgäu, the unknown perpetrator has not yet been caught.
“Intensive police searches are underway,” a police spokesman said on Sunday.
On Saturday, officers also searched from a police helicopter.
The 21-year-old was taken to hospital in a rescue helicopter on Saturday afternoon with life-threatening injuries.
The police initially assumed that an argument between acquaintances was the reason for the knife attack.
What exactly it was about was initially unknown.
Update, 8:30 p.m.:
The police in Füssen are still keeping a low profile about the ongoing operation in the city.
It is currently still unclear what exactly this is about.
As soon as information is confirmed, we will inform you.

So far the situation on site remains unchanged.
According to a spokesman for the Füssen police station, there is currently no further information.
