Eerily funny: These participants dressed as witches created a good atmosphere.

The carnival parade in Petershausen was a complete success with many participants and spectators.
Petershausen – Imaginative motif floats, funny foot groups and happy spectators of all generations ensured a large turnout in the carnival parade in Petershausen on Saturday under a bright blue sky.
Immediately after the parade at around 4:30 p.m., many flocked to the multi-purpose hall, where the celebrations continued inside and outside.
Brigitte König from the carnival committee drew a positive conclusion on Sunday: “This year there were even more people at the parade than last year, a lot of families with children.
Everyone celebrated happily, we are completely satisfied.”

The Gaudiwurm started a little late on Saturday because some carnival floats did not show up on time due to a diversion.
But the good mood of the participants and spectators remained undimmed.
The procession finally started moving around 1.30 p.m., while President Gottfried Stempfl and Princess Christine of the carnival committee, as was traditional, led the procession in a convertible and were happily welcomed by the spectators.
Directly afterwards, and this is also a tradition, the Petershausen brass band marched and entertained with songs to sing and dance along to.
The musicians pushed a giant papier-mâché cake in front of them, a small nod to the upcoming 100th anniversary next year.
One would like to celebrate this at a folk festival site, which unfortunately doesn't exist yet.

The carnival committee was traveling with a new “party car”; the old knight's castle had become obsolete after five years of use.
At the head of the Gaudiwurm marched the foot groups, which have always provided entertainment with creative costumes and funny sayings.
The prosecco thrushes paraded through the town wearing Ferrero Rocher chocolate pralines, while seven friends from Biberbach went hunting for men in chic wedding dresses.
Obelix and the Romans solved the problem with the yellow boundary stones at the Edeka parking lot in Operation Hinkelstein.
And as “Lauterbach’s clowns,” pharmacy employees drew attention to what they believed to be misguided health policy.
“Petershausen under power” was the motto of the Free Voters, among whom Mayor Marcel Fath mingled in glittering foil capes.
Dressed in wedding dresses, seven friends from Biberbach went looking for men in the hope of meeting the man of their dreams at the carnival parade.

The boys' clubs' floats showed imaginative themes: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Ice Expedition, Lucky Luke, Bibi Blocksberg, Jurassic Park, Lumberjack, Jungle Book, a Christmas carriage with Santa Claus, a 1950s-style diner, two rolling après-ski Huts and two large construction sites could be seen.
On some wagons and tractors there were inscriptions and posters like those that have recently been seen at farmers' demonstrations - from "No farmers, no cultural landscape" to "The traffic lights have to go."
