The anger is perceptible at the end of the Marseille stage of the defenders of pleasure boating, a movement initiated last September in the Var.
On Saturday, around fifty representatives of nautical companies and federations responded to denounce the extension of anchorage and light equipment zones (Zmel).
This new restrictive regulation, which prohibits anchoring outside dedicated areas, was inaugurated four years ago in Port Cros, an island in the heart of the oldest marine park in Europe (1963).
It must be extended this summer to the neighboring island of Porquerolles and various sites on the French Mediterranean coast.
Marseille boaters, already up in arms against the regulations which limit access to the Calanques National Park, do not intend to remain inert this time.
