A 52-year-old man died on Sunday in a fire in his home in Freistroff (Moselle), we learned from the firefighters on Sunday.
The fire, of still undetermined origin, broke out in the early hours of the night.
“The man was alone in the house at the time of the fire. It was very violent, there were a lot of things stored inside”
which fueled the flames, a member of Codis told AFP.
“The house was completely engulfed in flames when we intervened, we were unable to get inside. We found the victim afterwards, in the rubble
,” said the same source.
The firefighters engaged two firefighting vehicles and a large ladder, resources coming from the Bouzonville and Boulay-Moselle barracks.
