The rest after this ad will be announced in the coming years. The Paris 2024 application file was submitted in 2017. It promised up to three metro, train and RER lines to reach Paris from the airport of Roissy.

It was a formidable transport network that was hinted at in the Paris 2024 application file. Submitted in 2017, the latter promised, for the Olympics, up to three metro, train and RER lines to reach Paris from the airport of Roissy.

The RER B already in service of course, but also the brand new line 17 of the Grand Paris Express (the automatic metro under construction around Paris), and a direct connection in thirty-three minutes between Charles-de-Gaulle airport and the Est station called CDG Express, also under construction.

Further south, line 15 of the Grand Paris Express would have offered an alternative to get to Roland-Garros.

Three new metro connections: the extended 14 as well as lines 16 and 17 of the Grand Paris Express, were also announced to strengthen the journey between the Olympic village of Saint-Denis (Seine-Saint-Denis) in Paris and the Paris metropolis .
