The Ministry of Transport invites on its site to avoid having packages delivered during the Olympic and Paralympic Games, i.e. from July 26 to August 11 and from August 28 to September 8.
“As far as possible, we invite you to anticipate your package orders so that they are delivered before July 24, after September 8 or between the two Olympics, i.e. between August 12 and 27, 2024”, can- we read on the website of the Ministry of Transport, dedicated to questions related to competition.
Favor deliveries on foot or by bike
If necessary, the ministry encourages you to consult traffic forecasts to get delivered on a day and time with less traffic.
It also invites you to favor deliveries by bike or on foot, and to choose a relay point outside the security perimeters established around the sites where the Olympic and Paralympic Games will take place.
Access to these areas will be impossible for vehicles, unless they have proof, it is recalled on the site.
Traffic restrictions linked to the competition will be put in place gradually from March, the start date of assembly for certain temporary sites, it is also specified.
These constraints will continue until the end of October.
