After two weeks of blockages to protest against immigration and insecurity, Mayotte is sinking into anger and disorder.
The demonstrators are still in place in Chiconi, in the west of the island.
At the crossroads, which serves the north and south of the territory, there are around ten of them this Saturday morning, sitting on tree trunks, wooden pallets, or stationed behind garbage dumpsters.
Mohamed and Moussa (*) have been there since the first hours of the movement.
