Yesterday, Egyptian sources told the Qatari newspaper Al Arabi Al Jadid that the visit of the Hamas delegation to Cairo, led by the organization's leader Ismail Haniyeh, which was supposed to take place this weekend, was postponed at the request of Hamas.
According to a senior Hamas official, the postponement of the visit by a few days was intended for further consultations with officials in Gaza regarding the cease-fire outline and the hostage deal, which was delivered to the movement in Paris.
According to him, since the outline of the deal was given to Hamas, there have been extensive consultations regarding it between the leaders of the political and military ranks of the organization.
