The new Nahal route of the Eyal association includes joining the association's service year, during which the sheshins will be engaged in Zionist and social work, strengthening settlements in the Gaza Envelope and the Western Negev and contributing to society.
The nucleus of the Nahal in Kibbutz Kfar Gaza will engage in agriculture, community work, and the construction of settlement nuclei, with the goal being to help restore the space and strengthen it by additional nuclei of Eyal graduates from the student villages in the area.
After the year of service, the members of the nucleus will mobilize together as a group to serve in the Nachal division.
Those with Profile 97 will enlist in the 50th Battalion of the Nahal, those with Profile 72 in the Border Protection Battalion and those with a rear profile in the Education Corps, with their military service lasting 22 months after the military episode
. of the Eyal association was born out of the need from the area and the communities of the settlements in the Gaza Strip and the Western Negev and from the needs of the IDF. So that Eyal, through the Nahal nucleus that will be established in Kibbutz Kfar Gaza, will flow another young and active force into the area that will significantly assist in the rehabilitation of the entire area.
The Eyal Association has been active in the area surrounding Gaza and the Western Negev for several years and operates 3 student villages in Sderot, Ofakim and Yachini which contribute greatly to the strengthening of the settlements in these areas.
