Dietramszell - At the annual general meeting of the Dietramszell Volunteer Fire Department, members reflected on an eventful year, discussed the new vehicle and elected a new board.
Review, outlook, solidarity: At the annual general meeting of the Dietramszell Volunteer Fire Department, members reflected on an eventful year, discussed the new vehicle and elected a new board.
In August 2023, the storm “Denis” will leave a path of destruction in the southern district (we reported).
During the hail catastrophe, emergency services were on duty around the clock to initially make provisional control of the damage caused.
The Dietramszell comrades were in action together with their fire department colleagues from the entire municipality.
Around 50 members recently came to the annual general meeting in the Schönegger Gasthaus Peiß to review the year together with commander Fabian Fiegler.
The Floriansjüngers were active in exercises or missions for around 2,000 hours, reported Fiegler.
Cohesion is really good at the D'Zeller Floriansjünger
What particularly struck him this year was how good the cohesion was among the emergency services.
As an example, he cited the operations during the hail catastrophe in Benediktbeuern and Arzbach and praised how the firefighters worked in alternating shifts with their “manpower and equipment to support their colleagues from the southern district” in order to repair the storm damage.
With the words: “You have shown solidarity and commitment,” Fiegler paid his thanks and had good news: “The new logistics equipment trolley will be delivered in February,” he announced.
As reported, the existing LF10 fire engine will be handed over to the Ascholding fire department.
Treasurer Matthias Till then had financial news: The financial balance was consistently positive.
The main reason for this is the St. John fire.
The traditional solstice celebration has been celebrated in the fields of Kreuzbichl for several years and “is very popular with the citizens,” explained deputy secretary Maria Fiegler when asked.
New elections for the board of directors were also on the agenda.
Josef Häsch, the previous second chairman, and treasurer Lisa Häsche had already announced their resignation in advance.
Michael Häsch Jr., who previously served on the board as an ensign, was voted to the second board.
The position of second board member and first treasurer therefore had to be filled.
Mathias Till, previously second cashier, becomes first cashier.
Alexander Wagner will take over the duties of second ensign in the future.
Hans-Benno Suttner was also appointed second treasurer.
