The heat gives a respite in the City and Greater Buenos Aires: a maximum of 28 degrees is expected

Highlights: Temperatures will subside this Sunday in the City and Greater Buenos Aires. Tomorrow a day is expected with partially to mostly cloudy skies and isolated storms at night. The hottest place in the country was Formosa, with 29.4 degrees, followed by San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca, with 28.8 degrees. In the province of Buenos Aires, San Fernando registered 20 degrees and Villa Gesell, 19.7, the places with the highest temperatures in the district.


The relief will only be for today. Starting tomorrow the maximum temperatures will once again exceed 30°.

Tomorrow a day is expected with partially to mostly cloudy skies and isolated storms at night, and a temperature on the rise again, with a minimum of 23 degrees and a maximum of 33 degrees.

On Tuesday, mostly cloudy skies are expected in the morning and partially cloudy in the afternoon, and a temperature of 26 degrees minimum and 35 maximum.

The panorama throughout the country

After the exhausting days, this Sunday morning the temperatures did not reach 30 degrees in any province of the country, according to the SMN ranking.

According to the organization, at 8 o'clock

the hottest place in the country was Formosa, with 29.4 degrees

, followed by San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca, with 28.8;

Reconquista (Santa Fe), with 28.6;

and Termas del Río Hondo (Santiago del Estero), with 28.4 degrees.

At the other end of the table were Chapelco (Neuquén), with 9.6;

Río Grande (Tierra del Fuego), with 9.8;

and El Calafate (Santa Cruz), with 10.2.

In the province of Buenos Aires, San Fernando registered 20 degrees and Villa Gesell, 19.7, the places with the highest temperatures in the district;

while in the center of the district the temperature dropped to 12.2 in Bolívar;

12.9 in Olavarría and 13.2 in Azul.
