After a year and a month as a minister in the government, the question is why is Ben Gabir doing this?
The Minister of National Security is not a stupid person, on the contrary.
If so, he knows - or at least should know - that the President of the United States, Biden, has been providing Israel, since the outbreak of the war, security and political support like no other.

What is the explanation, then, for these good spoons - and more than a person who sits in the cabinet?
The second possibility is that Ben Gavir is not aware of the extent of the American support, which means that he does not know basic things about the campaign.
Hard to believe this is the case.
The third possibility - that he does it on purpose.
That is, he insulted the President of the United States in order to gain points with potential Israeli voters.
And not just insulting, but rudely meddling in American politics - and announcing that "it was better with Trump".

And this statement is even more promiscuous.
First, because it is a political intervention in another country by a minister in the government - something we are very angry about when it happens in the opposite direction.
Second, neither Ben Gabir nor anyone else can know how Trump would have reacted as president at the time of the Hamas attack.
Perhaps it is worth reminding Minister Ben Gabir that Trump was generally silent during the first days of the war, and when he did speak he had praise for Hamas and Nasrallah - not for Israel.

Beyond that, Trump advocates American separatism and financial savings, so it is not at all certain that he would have sent here as much ammunition as Biden did and plans to do more.
He only hurts himself
And the most important thing: after more than a year in the cabinet, when in a quarter of it an extremely difficult war is being waged, Ben Gabir should already exercise a little more discretion.
I mean, criticizing Biden's demand to endlessly introduce humanitarian aid is certainly allowed, but why kick the bucket?
Why is it so complicated to say "I thank the president for his support for Israel in its difficult time, but I disagree with him on the issue of humanitarian aid that helps Hamas"?
Knows how to manipulate words, but chooses not to.

The answer is not complicated.
It is a fact that in an interview with the WSJ, regarding his future in the government and the deal to release the hostages, Ben Gabir also knew how to walk through the cracks.
On the one hand, he claimed that "Netanyahu has to choose between two ways", and on the other hand, he sticks to the same limits as decreed by the Prime Minister regarding the deal - so that he will not be forced to leave the government, if the deal is approved.
So he knows how to manipulate the words, but chooses not to.
The first and perhaps the only one to be affected by this is Ben Gvir himself.
Because the Americans ignore him anyway, and his attack on Biden-Epilan did not make it to the headline of the article.
This, by the way, was his first interview with the media in the US, and we can certainly say that he failed the test.
As a result, the Israelis will also continue to regard him as a non-serious and irresponsible person.
This means that he may receive more mandates, and even continue to sit in the cabinet, but in practice - as has been the case for 13 months - no one will count him out.
