The bodies of eight other Ukrainians were found in
the rubble of a bakery in a Russian-occupied city in eastern Ukraine that
Moscow said was attacked by the Ukrainian army, bringing the death toll to 28. authorities reported.
"Search operations continue at the collapsed bakery"
in Lisichansk, the Russian government said in a statement about yesterday's attack in that city in the eastern Ukrainian province of Lugansk.
"About 65% of the destroyed structure is dismantled;
unfortunately, 28 people, including a child, died
," the Russian ministry said in the note, reported the AFP news agency.
Local authorities installed by Russia
accused the Ukrainian Army of having bombed the bakery, which
is very popular on weekends.
Ukraine did not deny or deny the accusations.
