In an interview with Fox News, former President Donald Trump said that Israel was part of the operation to kill Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani.
"When we planned to eliminate Soleimani, Israel was supposed to do it with us," Trump said.
"Two days before the operation they told us 'we can't do it'. But in the end Israel had a part in it, Bibi had a big part in it," he added.

"What he (Solimani - DM) did is terrible.
He killed a lot of our soldiers, of our people," Trump concluded.
Trump also referred to the reaction of the regime in Iran against US actions during his term in the White House: "The Iranians reacted to an attack that was led against them first when they sent about 16 missiles that missed their target, apparently in a deliberate manner.
The media said 'how did the missiles miss the target, they are accurate missiles'.
The Iranians had to do it and show strength because we attacked them first, but they told us 'don't attack us back'.
It's called respect, they respected us."
