On that occasion, the World Cup final was held at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena (Los Angeles, USA), a stadium that is now not among those chosen for this tournament.
As for venues in Mexican cities, the Azteca Stadium will become the first in history to host three different World Cups.
For its part, Canada will debut as an organizing country although in 2015 it hosted the FIFA Women's World Cup.
