The unity and victory flag raising ceremony, which was supposed to take place tomorrow at the Bari junction, will probably be postponed due to the opposition of the kibbutz residents.

In the invitation to the ceremony, the organizers wrote: "The Flags of Unity and Victory initiative wishes to raise the flag and turn on the light, to salute the settlers, the soldiers and to strengthen the surrounding settlements all along the border line. The 'planting' of the flags in the locations where they tried to harm the soul and spirit of the citizens of Israel on October 7, symbolizes the strength of the people, which cannot be broken. The ceremony will be a sign of connection, mutual guarantee and commitment to the tasks and challenges ahead."
The Eshkol Regional Council responded: "We are aware and understand the great sensitivity these days and that is why the head of the council Gadi Yarkoni is working with the CEO of the Or movement to cancel the event.
We hope for better days to come and wish for the return of all our abductees home soon."
