This Monday, the Government rejected the possibility that the Minister of Human Capital, Sandra Pettovello, would receive the picketing groups that were protesting in front of the ministry's headquarters this Monday, forming an extensive queue which they have defined as "the queue of hungry".

"Today he is not going to receive them and he has never summoned them

," said the presidential spokesperson, Manuel Adorni, in his usual press conference.

"It was not the minister's intention for people to have a bad time in the sun with these temperatures we are having," he added.

The official thus responded to the demand of social organizations called by the Union of Workers of the Popular Economy (UTEP) so that Pettovello could personally and personally receive hundreds of people who demanded a response to the "food emergency."

After 11 o'clock, there were more than 20 blocks of queue, vehicular traffic had not been interrupted and people were waiting to be served on the sidewalks.

The action is carried out in response to the statements of Pettovello, who had stated last Thursday that he will attend "one by one" to "people who are hungry", having on that occasion held an exchange with members of social organizations that were demanding food for soup kitchens.

While the protest was taking place, the minister and the secretary of childhood, adolescence and family, Pablo De La Torre, signed a food assistance agreement with the Christian Alliance of Evangelical Churches of Argentina (ACIERA) at the “Eternal Promesa” Foundation in the town of José C Paz, so that they receive direct help and without intermediaries.

The amount invested by the Ministry of Human Capital will be $177,500,000, as reported.
